It's a thrill to hear from my cousin (since I don't have any brothers or sisters.) I was hoping I would see your whole family
when Lucy graduated from WFU, at the same time my grandson
Matt Steen did. He is now employed at Bowman Gray School of Medicine conducting computer research of the brain.
I like your wish about blind eyes because 7 years ago a clot formed in my left eye overnight and left me without sight in that one eye. Reading with only one eye has slowed me down, and I gave up driving. Whenever I have a problem with sight in my one good eye, I go to my retina specialist for an injection in that eye and try not to get depressed. We are living in a retire-
ment community, where there are several other retired clergy (who have become good friends.) With family affection,John

Hey Hillmans! It was great reading your 'card.' I completely understand about the commuting and marriage thing! But I believe things always work out in the end. Sounds like everyone is doing great and love the photo of Rocky enjoying the Christmas snow. Must have been a wondrous thing to see on Christmas Day (unless of course you're driving in it!). Have a very Happy Christmas season and Happy New Year! See y'all soon!
